This week…
This week Marty headed to Taco bell with his brother and Mimi to try out a couple of things on their menu. First, he ordered a side of their grilled chicken, cantina chicken, steak, and beef. He also ordered a few of their sides to try including, rice, nacho cheese, both shredded cheeses, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Mimi also had to get something for herself since she was driving, so she ordered a cheesy double beef burrito.
The Review
Marty and his brother Rocko started their elevation with the meats. Both boys agreed that the steak is a 10/10. The flavor of the steak is unmatched to any dog treat out there that claims to have a steak flavor. Coming in at second place there is a tie between the grilled and cantina chicken. Both boys agreed that the chicken is a 9.5/10. The only reason the chicken was knocked down half a point was because it didn’t seem as fresh as the steak and lacked the same juicy flavor. The beef came in last place out of the meats with a 8/10 score, because of the greasy texture. Marty also believes that Mimi makes better beef at home that is fresher and has more flavor.
Moving on to the sides, Marty and Rocko dived right into the review. First, they decided to try the rice. Marty gave the rice a 7/10, while Rocko gave it a 5/10. Marty believes that the rice had a good texture and flavor with the seasoning blend Taco Bell adds to the rice. Rocko didn’t love the flavor of the rice, due to the fact that he has a very basic palate. Next, they tried the three different cheeses. Both boys gave the shredded cheeses a 10/10, while they gave the nacho cheese a 7/10. The cheese tax is extremely prevalent within their household, so it was no surprised they loved the shredded cheese. The nacho cheese only lost a couple of point due to the spice factor that the boys did not love. Lastly, they tried the tomatoes and jalapenos. Marty and Rocko both gave the tomatoes and jalapenos a 5/10 and 1/10 respectively. The tomatoes lacked flavor, and they were also slightly frozen. The jalapenos had an odd texture that Marty had never experienced before, but what made them receive the score they did was the spice level. Overall, Taco Bell has tasty food for an affordable price. Marty and Rocko both decided to give Taco Bell and overall rating of 8.7/10.
P.S. Until next time here’s a shot of Marty getting into the Christmas spirit!
