War on Wendy’s

Will it be a 10/10…

This week Mimi took the boys on a trip to visit the infamous Wendy’s. Marty was a little scared of their mascot as they were pulling into the drive through, but he decided to still give it a chance. Before they headed out, they got some recommendations of things to try from this restaurant. They ordered a Bacon Double stack biggie back, which comes with a burger, four nuggets, a small fry, and a drink. They also ordered a four-piece saucy nugs in the honey barbeque flavor with a vanilla frosty for dessert.

The Review

The boys decided to start their review with the items in the biggie bag. First, they tried the burger, which both boys gave a 9/10. They loved the flavor of the burger, bacon, and cheese, but the pickles were a little sour for their taste which is why the score came down one point. Next up they gave the regular chicken nuggets a try. Both boys gave these an 8.5/10 due to the fact that they were good but there was nothing particularly special about them. After the nuggets, Marty and Rocko decided to give the French fries a try. Marty gave them a 9/10 while Rocko gave them a 7/10. Both boys love French fries, but Rocko found that they were just a little too salty for his taste buds. The boys were most excited to try Wendy’s saucy nugs, which did not disappoint. Both Marty and Rocko gave these a 9.5/10 due to the excellent flavor, but they did think that if the sauce sits on the nuggets for too long, they become soggy. Finally, the boys ended their review with a vanilla frost. They decided to give the frosty a 7/10 due to the basic flavor.

Overall, Marty and Rocko both decided to give Wendys a 8.7/10. In their opinion, the food was pretty good and had excellent flavor. There were a couple of items where the texture was a little off, but overall, they really enjoyed their meal. The only thing is that Wendy’s is a little on the expensive side for fast food, but that is what they have Mimi for!
